Building Trust—At Scale

2020 was an exciting year. The lockdown proved our versatility in adapting to extreme circumstances. Despite this, a few Ideapreneurs inspired me to dig a little deeper, push a little harder, and risk a lot more.

These entrepreneurs rarely use that calling card. Much happier with the Indie Hacker, Bootstrapper, or Solopreneur nomenclature, I prefer to call them Ideapreneurs.

Such Ideapreneurs have many skills, the most important of which––is the ability to build Trust at Scale.

I can't quite recall in the haze associated with content overload, which Ideapreneur first coined 'Trust at Scale'–Jack Butcher, David Perell, Nat Eliason, Tiago Forte–who knows, so I'll give credit to one and all for now.

But what does it take to build Trust at Scale? For this, I'll lean on my favourite Ideapreneurial adventurer–Visualize Value.

The brainchild of Jack And Celia Butcher, who, for obvious reasons, prefer–visualize value to be used for comms as opposed to the 'Butchers.'

The model used has many nuances but can be bracketed into some essential steps.

Following this model has enabled them to scale their Twitter audience to over 150k followers in just one year!

Jack himself always says, first imitate–and then innovate. Good advice, indeed.
