Freemium. Friend or Foe?

— if you can't explain your monetization strategy simply—it's not a strategy!

Should strategy be complicated or child's play?

Aficionados tell us that strategy, like economics, is the purview of specialists. It's too complicated for ordinary folk. So please leave it to the specialists.

But strategy isn't surgery!

So why is it cloaked in the same level of mystique and awe?

What if strategy could follow the concept of lossless compression—which allows the representation of the original data with a drastically reduced surface area.

Think of how jpegs, tiffs, and pngs revolutionized media use on the internet.

—Compression ratios of 40% are acceptable, but the best in class achieve 10%.

A strategy atom should produce high fidelity lossless compression.

Imagine producing the same information, the same picture, the same strategy communicated or executed with just 10% of the words and time but with 100% of the effect!

Strategy Atom = Lossless compression.
